In this digital world we live in, we are all photographers. So why is professional wedding photography so important? And why Allie B Photo?

Your wedding is a outward representation of the biggest commitment you will ever make and chances are you have invested a lot in making it exactly what you dreamt of. Photography is the one investment that is truly tangible. On your wedding day, you will be so caught up in the moment (and each other!) that you won't have time to worry about whether or not anyone took a photo of that gorgeous and delicious cake before it was devoured. You won't have to worry if you are so caught up you can't remember anything. Photography remembers it for you and allows you to share it for your lifetime.

Choosing the right photographer for you and your day is probably more important than having just any photographer. We have several things that are important to us and if you share in our philosophies, we might be a perfect match.

First- We believe in the importance of relationships. The one between you and your spouse to-be will be the star of the wedding album, but the one between you and us will allow us to show your relationship in the most honest and flattering light. We mesh best with clients that are willing to be friends too.

Secondly- We don't bring lights, backdrops or props. We believe in using the surroundings, our creativity and natural light for almost all photographs. We love to see a photo in black & white or with a touch of texture. If you take a look around the site you will see this style repeatedly. If you like what you see, you will like what we can do for you.

Lastly- Allie was trained in film and Tim taught himself on a film DSLR Camera. Due to this, we take photos the way we would like to see them in print. We edit using Lightroom. We do not place a lot of emphasis on our abilities to take things out of photos or to alter images drastically in Photoshop. Again, look through the gallery and blog. This is the photography we do for others, is it for you?

-Post-wedding follow-up. We will get you set up with everything your package includes, plus any additional photo items you wish to order.
